Professionally Compromised

Sweet were the times when as a kid I always emerged as the winner,
I grew up to be an adult with this attitude to be reflected in my manner.
I was thrown into situations where competition creeped into my sweet dinner,
I was tested,my skills were put inside ruthless scanner.
Lost the trail myself,and struggled hard but proved again that I remain the winner.

Bitter are now times,when I am asked to start as a kid again,
For I don't like proving that this flesh and bones structure also carry a winning brain,
But my profession is such where one is asked to prove onself again and again,
I have grown tired of hard work which brings little gain and more pain.

Perhaps I am not used to this lifestyle so minimized,
Where challenges challenge me like some nighmare so maximized.
Time is drawing near, I am feeling animated,
I want to live simpler,avoid things complicated,
I want to flee away from mundane expectations and feel rationalised:
In the arms of my Holy Father who very well knows what makes me mesmerised,
So that whenever I look back,I'd recollect and tell others :
Never live a life being professionally compromised!

A POEM ON GLOBAL WARMING

Graffiti decorations under the sky of dust,

A stifling wave of tension, troubling a broken trust.

The lessons Mother Nature had taught us,

Are we never going to  learn ?

On the point of taking actions, the words come out and burn !

 

Now we find ourselves in question, guilty by relentless Pollution:

Protocols and angry voices, only enumerate a vivid contemplation.

Population sails upstream, in void of any Application!

The forces are exerting, giving way to human frustration .

The time has come to rise, play our part with discretion,

Else get prepared, in despair, for a new Evolution.

 

This is the test of Rationality, to show the Human Personality:

Global Warming is a Calamity, are we waiting for a catastrophe ?

Playing tricks with time can only ensure an inevitable tragedy,

People need to realize, to prevent making the technology:

Into the most awkward futuristic Reality !!!

COME ON, BE VEGETARIAN!

Nature has bestowed most beautiful things on the planet Earth. Different species form a typical hierarchy of Organic Evolution. We 'Human Beings' occupy the zenith of the living society.So we do carry certain responsibilities to keep the ecological balance intact. It is also our duty to protect the wildlife and innocent animals. Remember it is all pertaining to the fact that we are the most evolved creatures of this planet.

 

But our poor conduct towards animals testify that we have failed to live up to the so called the Rational Beings' insignia that we proudly carry with us. People kill animals for their skin and food.This is Really strange!, only for the taste of the tongues' ,we eat flesh, take lives! It is true that animal flesh contains First class Proteins(with essential Amino Acids), but we do have alternating resources present in the milk, and plant products. Milk provides all the Essential Amino Acids required by our body. So my friends what is the use of eating meat? If we kill animals for food, what difference will then remain between A Blood - Thirsty Beast/ Cannibal and a CIVILISED DECENT PERSON .Consider that innocent look in the eyes of the animals when they are taken to be slaughtered, those pleading eyes which request mercy from us. And we display a fine show of cruelty by killing them, only because they are weak, unable to retaliate! A Devil's work.

 

If this merciless killing of animals is not condemned, then I reckon that the day is not far away when people would kill each other for flesh. Quite terrible!!!!!!!

 

Come On! MY FRIENDS, Let' s Be vegetarian! and live longer devoid of any ailments*** and enjoy our life. Let's Plant more trees for they are our resources. Trees bear flowers,fruits and vegetables--what a lovely creation of Mother Nature! Let's promise together in the name of all the things we hold sacred: that we will not eat flesh and meat anymore and not let others to kill and eat.

 

In order to make our world a cheerful place to live, we must endeavour to keep our surrounding environment and health clean and fit respectively, as it is beautifully stated-'Cleanliness is next to Godliness'.

 

***Note: Eating meat causes diseases like Appendicitis, Inflammation of Liver, Constipation and other Enteric Disorders.Intake of pork of any kind leads to generation of Tapeworm {Sc. name: Taenia solium}, a dangerous parasite in Human Intestine, which causes stomach aches, gastro-intestinal tumours,colon cancer and Diarrhoea.

HOW TO FOCUS IN LIFE ?

The man who is perpetually hesitating which of the two tho things he will do first, will do neither. One who resolves, but suffers his resolutions to be changed by the first counter-suggestions of a friend, - who fluctuates from opinion to opinion, from plan to plan, and veers like a weather- cock to every point of the compass, with every breath of caprice that blows- can never accomplish any great or useful. Instead of being progressive in any kind, he will be at best stationary , and more probably retrograde in all. It is only the man who first consults wisely, then resolves firmly, and then executes his purpose with flexible perseverence , undismayed by those petty hardships and havocs that daunt a weaker spirit, that can advance to eminence in any line. Take your course wisely and with powerful determination ; and having taken it, hold upon it with heroic resolution, and the Alps and Pyrenees will sink before you., which was the privilege of a lucky few in ancient history.
